Sindhudurg had been popular as a naval base and now famous for its majestic and unconquered Sindhudurg Sea Fort. From Malvan Jetty a comfortable boat takes you to this historical fort. On your way to fort you can enjoy the mesmerizing view of flora, birds and caressing waves providing you amazing experiences.
In the fort's premises you can visit temples dedicated to Bhavani, Mahadeo, Jarimari, Mahapurush and Shivaji. About 3 km long walls of the fort offers you a breathtaking view of the vast open sea with tides sometimes 30 ft high.
