Day 01:
Chennai
Reach Chennai and get
greeted by the tour representative on day 01 of the
temple tour of South India. Transfer to the hotel and
later go on a sightseeing tour of the temples in Chennai
like the Kapaleeswarar temple, Marundeeswarar Temple and
the Parthasarathy Temple. Visit Fort Museum, Santhome
Church and National Art Gallery. Return to the hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 02:
Kanchipuram / Mahabalipuram
Day 02 begins with a drive
to Kanchipuram. On reaching visit the temples like
Kailasanatha Temple, Vaikunda Perumal Temple,
Varatharaja Temple and Ekambareswara Temple. In the
evening proceed for Mahabalipuram. Overnight stay at the
hotel in Mahabalipuram.
Day 03:
Mahabalipuram
Go on a temple tour of
Mahabalipuram on day 03 and visit the famous shore
temple in Mahabalipuram. Take the tour of the temple
complex and in the evening go on the beach and feel
relaxed. Later go on a shopping spree. Overnight stay at
the hotel.
Day 04:
Pondicherry
Visit Pondicherry on day 04
and see places like Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville,
Varadraja temple, Manakula Vinayagar temple, Sri
Vedapureeswarar temple, Kamatchiammalle temple,
Varadarajaperumal temple and the Gokilambal
Thirukameswarar temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05:
Chidambaram
Visit Chidambaram on day 05
and visit the famous temples like Shiva temple,
Sarangapani Temple, Kumbeswarar Temple, Brahma Temple,
Nageswarar Temple and Swamimalai Temple. Overnight stay
at the hotel.
Day 06:
Velankanni
Proceed to Velankanni on
day 06. On reaching pray at the famous Arokkiya Madha
Church. Overnight stay at the hotel in Velankanni.
Day 07:
Tanjore / Trichy
Head for Tanjore on day 07
and witness the royal Brahadeeswara temple, Nandi
(Bull)) and the Royal Palace complex. Later in the
afternoon, reach Trichy and go on a sightseeing tour and
visit places like Lord Robert Clive's house, Srirangam
Temple, Rock-Fort Temple and Ganapati Temple. Overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 08:
Madurai
Reach Madurai on day 08 of
the temple tour of South India and visit the world
famous Meenakshiamman temple. Spend the day exploring
the beautiful temple. Later visit Thirumalai Nayak's
Palace and the Gandhi Museum. Overnight stay at the
hotel.
Day 09:
Rameshwaram
Proceed for Rameshwar on
day 09 of the temple tour of South India. Visit the
famous Rameshwaram temple and other temples like
Ramanatha Swamy Temple, Ramjharoka temple and
Kothandaramaswamy Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel in
Rameshwar.
Day 10:
Kanyakumari
Visit Kanyakumari on day 10
and on reaching visit the famous Vivekananda Rock
Memorial, Gandhi Mandapam, Kanyakumari Temple and the
Suchindram Temple. In the evening go on a walk along the
virgin beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day
11:
Trivandrum
Day 11 of temple tour of
South India begins with a drive to Trivandrum. On
reaching visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Aruvipuram
Siva Temple Janardhan Swamy Temple Sree Parasurama
Temple Sree Kanteswaram Temple and Ganapati Temple.
Later visit Napier Museum and Chitra Art Gallery.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Trivandrum.

On day 12 board a flight
